Scuba Diving & Snorkeling
Sanya is home to many diving sites with abundant marine resources, where good options including Wuzhizhou Island, West Island, Yalong Bay and Xiaodonghai. Each diving site is run by a company, offering all kinds of services from trial diving to diving courses. If you are a certifier and only need to rent the diving gears, there are special shops available. But for whatever cases, you should get a diving coach to stay along for safety purpose..
Sailboat
Taking advantage of their beachfront locations, many hotels at Yalong Bay and Dadonghai offer sailing service, supported with coaches and lifesaving gears. The rate ranges is more or less 100 yuan as per time, dependent on size of the boats and cost in hiring a coach.
Kite Boarding
As a worldly popular newly-emerged water sport, Sanya gives kite boarding a prime location. The spacious marine area and beaches at Sanya Bay and Yalong Bay are superior positions for kite boarding. There kite boarding school in Sanya today offers training courses and devices renting.
Water Gears
There are even more water gears, motorboat, speedboat, banana boat, canoe…available on every beach for every age of a family.
Offshore Fishing
Want to know what a world-escaped feeling of peace like? Want to enjoy the sea of Sanya alone? Go offshore fishing! With only 80 yuan you can rent a boat out to the sea.
